1) Success in our new roles
Please pray for continued guidance as we strive to be open to these new roles God has shown us in regards to our Shadow ministry. Our desire is to follow His leading so we ask for Him to reveal His will to us in all things.
2) Others to heed the call to go and serve
Please pray that those whom God is calling to go and serve at Shadow will accept His invitation. There are many positions at Shadow which are currently unfilled and so we are praying that others would open their hearts and minds to the needs not only at this ministry but all over the world.
3) Financial partners
Our current financial goal is to reach $24,000/year to assist in meeting the budgetary needs at Shadow. We have begun implementing fundraising events such as Geo For A Cause to reach this goal. We are also seeking individuals, churches or other groups to become monthly donors towards this effort. Please pray that God would direct our efforts, open the hearts of others and that He would be glorified in all that we are able to accomplish through His leading.
4) The continued spiritual growth of the children at Shadow of His Wings
Please pray that these children will not only continue to experience the love of Jesus but also that they will see that he has uniquely gifted each of them to share His love
Praise: More funds have been made available for supporting missionaries at Shadow
Praise: A new team house has been built at Shadow, the goat herd is growing and multiplying, fruit trees have been planted and a lake was built all working towards self sustainability of the property.
Praise: Geo For A Cause 2017 was a huge success, raising $ 2000.00 for Shadow. This brings the total contributions to over $ 6,000.00 from the Geo For A Cause Event alone! God always multiplies our efforts for Him!
Praise: We were able to travel to Shadow in July-August of 2017 and assist with homeschooling, projects on the property and outreach to widows in the community. We also were blessed to have the opportunity to fellowship with the missionaries and have some of them visit us here in the states to raise much needed funds for their sustainability.
